ComputEdge’s story begins in May 2024, with a clear vision: to meet the specific needs of the industrial computing sector, while offering sustainable, energy-efficient solutions that can adapt to the most demanding environments. We decided to found our company based on solid experience and a shared passion for innovation. Today, ComputEdge positions itself as a key player in the distribution of high value-added IT solutions, mainly in sectors as diverse as industry, medical, transport and defense.
A Vision Born from Field Experience
The idea of creating ComputEdge was born after a shared reflection between Frédéric EDIRIWEERA and Tony LUCAS, two professionals passionate about industrial computing. Frédéric, with his 12 years of experience in after-sales support (SAV), witnessed the recurring frustrations of customers who did not always find the products perfectly adapted to their specific needs.
It was this field experience, enriched by constant exchanges with customers, that convinced Frédéric of the need for a company capable of providing tailor-made solutions, in line with market requirements. By sharing his vision with Tony, his former colleague, they quickly identified a crucial need: a better offer in terms of IT equipment dedicated to industry, data collection, artificial intelligence, and industrial display solutions with optimized energy performance, as well as a service offer that meets the criticality of industry applications.
